Filmmaker & Production Designer

Sierra is a filmmaker and production designer currently based in Vancouver situated within the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.

She has over two years of experience in screenwriting, design, producing, story editing, and filmmaking. In May 2026, she will graduate from the University of British Columbia with a BA in Cinema Studies.

Sierra currently serves as the VP Internal of IndieVision Studios, an independent filmmaking collective that supports emerging filmmakers and fosters accessible, independent film production.

Alongside filmmaking, she is passionate about film theory, the outdoors, and anything crafty.

Currently, she is working on writing and directing her first short film, The Eggshell Dance.
